IODE donates to institutions: toys, equipment, furnishings, clothing, layettes, sports equipment, camperships, “My Stuff” backpacks, Fresh Start Baskets, and good grooming bags.
IODE has been instrumental in the formation of many hospitals across Canada.
ASSISTANCE FOR REMOTE COMMUNITIES
IODE supports remote communities with lunch programs in Nunavut, Snack Pack in the North, sports equipment, books, magazines, craft supplies, and clothing.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
IODE knows that children can concentrate in school better when they are not hungry. Food for Thought cupboards in schools allow teachers to tend to that child in need.
IODE CANADIAN DISASTER FUND
IODE responds to times of emergencies such as floods, ice storms, and major world disasters.
SNACK PACK
IODE supports school children in coastal Labrador providing them with a daily, nutritious mid-morning snack.
ASSISTANCE FOR CANADIAN VETERANS OVERSEAS
IODE remembers our veterans in need, who live in England, with an annual monetary gift at Christmas.
