LITERACY

IODE recognizes that reading builds self-esteem in children. With our Read for Life Program, IODE is working to make Canada the most literate nation in the world. Review our recommended books lists for children of all ages.

STUDENTS AND SCHOOLS

IODE help schools across Canada with our Adopted Class Program  and Baby Think it Over Programs. We give financial assistance to Canada’s National Ballet School, The National Theatre School of Canada, and The National Youth Orchestra.

BOOK AWARD

IODE promotes our Canadian children’s authors with The National Chapter of Canada IODE Violet Downey Children's Book Award.

IODE Canada 100th Anniversary Grant                                     to Alleviate Child Abuse & Neglect

IODE focuses on child protection with the 100th Anniversary Program, a grant to alleviate child abuse and neglect.
