LITERACY

IODE recognizes that reading builds self-esteem in children. With our Read for Life Program, IODE is working to make Canada the most literate nation in the world. Review our recommended books lists for children of all ages.

STUDENTS AND SCHOOLS

IODE help schools across Canada with our Adopted Schools and Baby Think it Over Programs. We give financial assistance to Canada’s National Ballet School, The National Theatre School of Canada, and The National Youth Orchestra.

BOOK AWARD

IODE promotes our Canadian children’s authors with The IODE Violet Downey Book Award.
