Since 1973, IODE Canada has recognized the excellence of students attending Canada’s elite National Ballet School. Dedicated to advancing the art of ballet, the National Ballet School develops dance professionals in a student centred environment by weaving innovation and evolving practice with the finest teaching traditions.
The Education Fund existed through donations from IODE chapters and individuals and from the sale of the IODE calendars. Following a review of the National Education Funds in 2022, IODE Canada regretfully was ceasing its long-time support of the professional dance program.
