THE NATIONAL CHAPTER OF CANADA IODE

IN REMEMBRANCE IODE CANADA DONATES TO THE CANADIAN WAR MUSEUM

Chris Bateman, President, of The National Chapter of Canada IODE, proudly presented a donation of $5000 to the Canadian War Museum for the Wall of Memory at the Chapter’s 107th Annual Meeting and Convention held in Ottawa, Ontario.

The National Chapter of Canada IODE name will be recognized on the Donor Wall and a special dedicated message on the interactive component of the Donor Wall will read:

“IODE, a Canadian women’s charitable organization, was founded in 1900 to raise funds to assist with Canada’s war movement at home and abroad.

War Memorial Scholarships, initiated in 1918, continue to commemorate those who sacrificed their lives for peace and freedom.

Today, IODE continues to assist Canadians in need.”
