The Wilhelmina Gordon Foundation Scholarship in English at Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario was established in 1938 in appreciation of the work of Professor Wilhelmina Gordon who served as National Education Secretary from 1923 to 1937. This award is presented annually to a Canadian student who qualifies for a first-class Bachelor of Arts, with a concentration in English and ranks first in the graduating group in English.
