The Great War Tea - Sunday October 19th, 2014

IODE Kathleen Drope Chapter in partnership with Montgomery’s Inn presents an afternoon commemorating the sacrifices made in World War I.
The Great War Tea is a special tea tasting event combining foods appropriate to the WWI family table. There will be two sittings: 1:00 p.m. & 3 p.m.
The menu includes three tasting plates, two savoury and one sweet served with matching teas. Live wartime music and a sing-a-long.
Guests attending The Great War Tea are invited to participate in Toronto’s Great War Attic. Bring along First World War objects and mementoes. Share stories of families from countries around the world affected by The Great War.
The Great War Attic is an initiative of The City of Toronto’s Museums and Heritage Services, in partnership with Historica Canada, York University and the Multicultural History Society of Ontario.
Cost $30 plus HST
