IODE ​Together For Tomorrow

Founded in 1900, IODE Canada a national women's charitable organization dedicated to enhancing the ​quality of life for individuals through education support, community service, and citizenship programs.

​One of our long-term funding strategy is responsible financial planning and management that will ensures IODE Canada to continue carrying out its mission.  The result is a fund named Together For Tomorrow.  Donors will receive a charitable income tax receipt for the full amount contributed.

Proceeds to the IODE Together For Tomorrow Fund are designated to be used for a specific purpose.

• Assist with the operational costs of IODE
• Build a capital fund to support the legacy of IODE
• Allow individuals to further support IODE and receive income tax receipts for their donations

How does someone donate to the IODE Together For Tomorrow Fund?

• Pledge any amount of funds
• Pledge a one-time gift or a repeating gift
• Complete a pledge form

Features of the IODE Together For Tomorrow Fund include:

• The ability to make periodic donations directly to IODE Canada
• Funds will be used first to assist the operational costs of IODE
• Donations and/or income not needed to cover the operational costs are to be used to build a capital fund to ensure the legacy of IODE
• Income from the capital fund may be used to augment any National Fund
• Funds will be invested in a more aggressive manner than other IODE funds
• Donors will be updated regularly on the financial status of the fund
• All donations are eligible for income tax receipts​

​​​Funds will be solicited via pledges for a given year.  Pledges may be split into several payments per year and/or for several years.  Pledges are non-binding. No IODE bill collectors will come after you. No IODE telemarketers will call you constantly.  We realize that members have great intentions and that life sometimes gets in the way.

​​​To date all IODE Canada capital funds are invested in minimum risk securities.  Together For Tomorrow Fund will invest any capital funds in medium risk products.

​Pledges can actually be made to any fund.  The IODE Endowment Fund, invested at minimal risk, can receive your donations by pledges.​

Donations can be made anonymously.​
